Source of Knowledge – Inside Us or Outside Us
It is said that no knowledge is possible without a teacher. In India, we find the custom of the Guru-Shishya Parampara, the theory that the Guru transmits the knowledge to the disciple. Even menial arts as that of a cobbler to that of the most exalted office of the spiritual guide is thought to be the result of the transmission of knowledge from Guru to disciple. Is knowledge really on the outside? Can we learn by ourselves?
When the apple fell from the tree under which Issac Newton was probably musing over some common place thing, the idea struck like a flash in his mind that there must be something that pulls the object down. This regular phenomena was subsequently coined as the Law of Gravitation, and was one of Newton’s greatest discoveries which triggered a whole new world of scientific developments that benefit us today on a daily basis. We say Newton discovered gravitation, but, as Swami Vivekananda questions through one of his lectures, “Was it sitting anywhere in a corner waiting for him? It was in his own mind; the time came and he found it out. All knowledge that the world has ever received comes from the mind; the infinite library of the universe is in your own mind. The external world is simply the suggestion, the occasion, which sets you to study your own mind, but the object of your study is always your own mind. The falling of an apple gave the suggestion to Newton, and he studied his own mind. He rearranged all the previous links of thought in his mind and discovered a new link among them, which we call the law of gravitation. It was not in the apple nor in anything in the centre of the earth.”
The Guru, the true teacher aids the pupil to discover. He is the real facilitator who enables us to focus our mind on learning. But unfortunately, our present Education System seems to work at cross purposes to this basic idea of how to unveil knowledge. Our ancient Indian educators discovered and implemented this fundamental idea in their social framework. Is it really necessary for us to accept our present system of education or should we seriously change the way we learn?

The old order must prevail but in a new cover…student’s perspective has changed, the must accept that and accordingly change his/her perspective and appeal to the student. The student must accept the teacher first and only then he/she can learn.
How has the perspective of the Students’ changed? Could you elaborate.
The approach ACP gives to the students which really makes the difference between teachers and the students, now thier thinking is different compared to the traditional approach, which means they are one step up to believing themselves, now automatically the ☀ sun inside them its actually glowing which increases over a time.
What is the new thinking in students? How does it help them? Can you elaborate?

The oblivion of our own self is the cause of all trouble we https://theawakenedcitizen.org/2019/03/04/tips-to-succeed-in-an-online-course/ in life. Our main aim is to regain https://theawakenedcitizen.org/2019/03/04/tips-to-succeed-in-an-online-course/ lost Empire of our self.
The outside knowledge can only supply the raw material .
I don’t feel bad about present education system but of-course we need focus on fundamentals. We can not imagine a multi-floor building without having very strong base/root. I believe initial 5-6 years( std 1 to std 5 or 6 ) of a child’s education must be focused on triggering questions to enhance interest level, imbibing values, practical exposure, learning the importance of education in human life etc after completing the primary education( std 5 or std 6) let the children decide(Free and responsible choice)to which extent they want to put themselves in school education system.
